I was appointed the personal representative of my father’s estate. My probate attorney provided me with a couple of recommendations of realtors in the Frederick, MD area since I lived out of state. I did my research and then reached out to Cathi Miller to interview her. I was immediately impressed with her background and felt like she would be a good fit for us to sell my father’s house in an estate sale. Cathi immediately got to work on what we needed to do to get my father’s house ready to be listed. I traveled to Frederick for my father’s memorial service and to empty the house. Cathi met with me while I was in town and scheduled photos and video to take place immediately upon my departure. I reviewed all photos and the listing, and she moved forward with listing the house and scheduling an open house for the first weekend after it was listed. In a very short time, we had 24 showings. After the first offer, she notified all realtors that had shown the property we had an offer and gave them a deadline to make their best and final offer. We ended up with 5 offers and Cathi and I met over the phone to go over each offer. Throughout the process Cathi kept me informed of where we were, educated me on options and made sure my interests as the personal representative of my father’s estate were being protected. I highly recommend Cathi as a realtor. She made the entire process, even though I was in Illinois, understandable and easy to maneuver.
