Seton Center Board of Directors

In June 2026, I was honored to be appointed to the Board of Directors of Seton Center in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
This appointment is especially meaningful to me because Emmitsburg is home. My family has deep roots in this community, with five generations of Welty’s calling the Emmitsburg area home.   The values of helping neighbors, supporting local families, and giving back to the community were instilled in me at a young age, making this opportunity particularly special.
For decades, Seton Center has served as a lifeline for individuals and families throughout Northern Frederick County. Through its food pantry, financial assistance programs, educational services, seasonal outreach, and community support initiatives, Seton Center works every day to help people through difficult times while providing resources that encourage long-term stability and success.
Throughout my professional career, first as a paralegal and now as a Realtor and Associate Broker, I have always enjoyed helping people navigate important transitions in life. Whether assisting a family with the purchase or sale of a home, helping seniors explore housing options, or connecting people with local resources, I believe that service to others matters.
Serving on the Seton Center Board allows me to continue that commitment beyond real estate and contribute to an organization that makes a real difference in the lives of so many people in our community.
Real estate has never been just about houses for me.  It is about people, families, relationships, and community.  My involvement with Seton Center reflects those same values and my belief that strong communities are built when neighbors help neighbors.
I look forward to working alongside the dedicated board members, staff, volunteers, donors, and supporters who make Seton Center’s mission possible.
Being asked to serve is a true honor.  It is an opportunity to give back to a community that has given so much to my family over the years, and one that I am especially proud to call home.
